An exciting first day for our new 7th graders

Font adjustments: Users can increase or decrease the font size, change the font family, adjust spacing, alignment, line height, and more.
Color adjustments: Users can select different color contrast profiles, such as light, dark, inverted, and monochrome. In addition, users can change the color schemes for headings, text, and backgrounds, with more than seven different color options available.
Animations: People with epilepsy can stop any currently playing animations with a single click. Animations controlled by the interface include videos, GIFs, and flashing CSS transitions.
Highlighting content: Users can choose to highlight important elements such as links and headings. They can also choose to highlight only the elements they are focusing on or hovering over.
Mute Audio: Users who wear hearing aids may experience headaches or other issues due to automatic audio playback. This option allows users to instantly mute the audio on the entire website.
Cognitive impairments: We use a search engine linked to Wikipedia and Wiktionary, which helps people with cognitive impairments understand the meaning of phrases, acronyms, slang, and other terms.
Additional features: We offer users the ability to change the cursor’s color and size, use a print mode, enable a virtual keyboard, and access many other features.

An exciting day lies ahead for the students in our 7th-grade classes. After a welcome from the principal, the class teacher led the students to the classroom, where there was a presentation with lots of important information. Afterward, they went on a scavenger hunt through the building and enjoyed a delicious spaghetti lunch during recess. While the principal was answering the students’ questions, a whole team from the Parent Committee was also on hand with a cup of coffee to answer questions from the “new” parents. It was a great start to the new school year!
