7th and 8th grade classes
The 6th and 7th grade classes allow students to:
– a deeper understanding of mathematics, languages, humanities, natural sciences, computer science…
– a gradual focus on a path that matches each student’s interests and profile.
Students in 6eG and above can pursue a science track
After 7th grade, LJBM offers a science-focused class in6th and7th grades, providing an immersive experience in the natural sciences through projects, experiments, and field trips. It’s a great way to spark scientific curiosity in middle school. Students will be selected based on their academic performance in mathematics and, preferably, in the natural sciences.
Students follow the traditional curriculum (6th or 5th grade), supplemented by two elective courses included in the schedule (2 hours per week):
– Science Track (physics, chemistry, biology)
– Makerspace Track (hands-on activities, robotics, technical and creative projects)
All of this is complemented by field trips, visits, and science-related projects.
Prerequisites: completion of the advanced mathematics course + a course in German or French, and an interest in the natural sciences
